After a five-year absence, director Brian De Palma returns with an erotic thriller entitled ‘Passion’, a remake of the 2010 French film ‘Love Crime’. ‘Passion’ tells the story of two advertising execs working on a cell phone marketing campaign. Isabelle (Noomi Rapace) develops and ingenious idea only to have it stolen by her mentor and boss Christine (Rachel McAdams). Located in Disney’s California Adventure theme park on Buena Vista Street, Carthay Circle is the newest full service restaurant to open at Disneyland. The restaurant was designed as a replicate the famous Carthay Circle Theatre. The interior is decorated in ornate furniture with rich gold and brown coloring to reflect Hollywood’s Golden Age. On Sunday Sept 3rd, I ran the Disneyland Half Marathon. You’re probably wondering, why all these Disney races? Well, Disney gives out a bonus “Coast to Coast” medal to anyone who’s participated in races at both Disney World and Disneyland in the same year. Since I had done the Goofy Race and a Half Challenge in January, I figured this would be the perfect year to run the Disneyland Half and collect my Coast to Coast medal. Remember when granola was healthy? I don’t. As far as I remember, granola always had chocolate chips, marshmallows or even better: granola bars that were dipped in chocolate or caramel and decorated with some kind of frosting. As a kid, I LOVED putting granola in yogurt or anything else because it was loaded junk — it was like eating dessert while being “healthy”. Or at least that’s how I’d try to trick my mom into buying me some. These days, I’m trying to keep things healthy and stay away from the sweets. I’m temporarily saying no to the chocolate chips. I went on a search for healthy granola but wasn’t able to find anything I liked, and that’s when I decided to create my own blend: Tropical Protein Granola. Well I didn’t get a chance to participate in the Foodie Pen Pals program in August. There was too much going on and I decided I wouldn’t have enough time to go shopping and get a package in the mail. I didn’t want to disappoint anyone because I always look forward to get my package every month. I was pretty much resigned to getting the usual bills, bills and more bills, maybe with the occasional flyer thrown in.
