Thank-you! I wanted to call it a ladybug because of the color and spots but I’m not really sure what kind of bug it is. It does look like a beetle for sure.
I would like to know which kind of bug it is too! I saw one today in a field. But since I’m only on holiday here in France, I have NO IDEA what most of the plants, birds and bugs are…
I’m going to post the picture to a bug guide site and hopefully someone can help to identify it. On another site, someone seemed to think it might be an asparagus beetle.
Love what you did with the colors in this photo-really eye catching. I look forward to seeing more photo shots!
Nice shot Vicky! That’s a cute lady bug over there. Cheers to you! 🙂

Thank-you!
Lovely. The colours and framing are great!
Thank-you! I took the picture over the weekend while it was raining. I removed a lot of the color in the picture except for the ladybug.
That worked out really well. Nice job!
Gorgeous photo! What an interesting looking beetle…

Thanks Tina!
I love what you did with the colors. I posted a remarkably similar shot a while ago. If you are interested you can check it out here: http://www.travel-pb.com/2011/07/wordless-wednesday-ladybugs-caught-in.html
Keep blogging!
Oh that’s awesome! I see there’s a second ladybug in your shot though 😉
